Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 23 May 2026

Welcome to Intovention. These Terms & Conditions explain how you may use our website and how purchases are handled when you order from us.

By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to follow these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

About Intovention

Intovention sells handmade leather wallets, card holders, and related leather goods through our online store.

1. Using our website

You may browse most areas of our website without creating an account. Some features, such as saved details, order history, or account services, may require registration.

You agree to use our website lawfully and respectfully. You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its security, upload harmful content, scrape content without permission, or use it in a way that could damage the website or affect other customers.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

2. Product information

We aim to describe our products as clearly and accurately as possible, including details such as material, colour, size, capacity, features, care information, and product images.

Leather is a natural material, so each item may have slight variations in grain, texture, tone, marks, and finish. These small differences are part of the character of genuine leather and should not be considered faults.

We make every effort to show colours accurately, but the actual colour may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting, photography, and device display.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to buy the selected product or products.

After placing your order, you should receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted.

Your order is accepted once it has been processed and dispatched, unless we contact you to say we cannot accept it.

We may refuse or cancel an order if the product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, there is an error in the product price or description, we are unable to deliver to your address, or we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity. If payment has already been taken and we cannot fulfil your order, we will arrange a refund.

4. Checking your order details

Please check your order carefully before completing payment. This includes product selection, colour, quantity, billing details, delivery address, and contact information.

Once an order has been placed, we may not always be able to change the delivery address, product choice, colour, or quantity before dispatch.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Prices include any applicable taxes unless clearly stated. Delivery charges, if any, will be shown before you complete your order.

We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. Payment providers may carry out security, fraud, and authorisation checks before a payment is approved.

6. Delivery

We usually aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 working days, unless a different timeframe is shown on the product page, checkout, or delivery information page.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, busy periods, public holidays, weather, or circumstances outside our control. We will deliver goods within the legal timeframe unless we agree a different timeframe with you.

You are responsible for providing a full and accurate delivery address. We cannot be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.

More information is available on our Shipping & Returns page.

7. Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items

Please check your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs where relevant.

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a replacement, repair, refund, or another suitable solution in line with your consumer rights.

8. Returns, cancellations, and refunds

We want you to be happy with your Intovention purchase. If you change your mind, you may return eligible items within our published return period, provided the item is returned in its original condition, with reasonable care taken while it was in your possession.

For most online purchases, UK customers have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, then a further 14 days to return them after telling us they wish to cancel. Our published returns policy may offer additional goodwill terms, but it does not reduce your statutory rights.

Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect. We may reduce a refund if an item has been handled beyond what is reasonable to inspect it, or if it is returned damaged, used, or incomplete.

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for the latest return instructions.

9. Personalised or custom products

We do not currently offer personalisation or custom-made products unless this is clearly stated on a product page or agreed with us in writing.

If we do offer personalisation or custom options, please check all spelling, initials, names, dates, colours, and details carefully before placing your order. Personalised or custom-made products usually cannot be cancelled or returned unless they are faulty or not made according to the details you provided.

10. Product care

Leather is a natural material and will develop character with use. Marks, softening, colour changes, and natural ageing are normal features of leather goods.

To help your wallet or card holder last longer, avoid overfilling it, exposing it to excessive moisture, placing it near direct heat, or using harsh cleaning products. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, overloading, or unsuitable care may not be covered by returns or warranty support.

Care guidance is available on our Leather Care page.

11. Warranty

Where a product warranty is offered, it applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights. Warranty support does not cover normal leather ageing, colour changes, scratches from use, accidental damage, misuse, overfilling, or unsuitable care.

12. Intellectual property

All content on the Intovention website, including product images, text, graphics, logos, design, and branding, belongs to Intovention or is used with permission.

You may view and print website content for personal use only. You must not copy, reproduce, sell, publish, or use our website content for commercial purposes without written permission.

13. Website availability

We aim to keep our website available and working smoothly. However, we cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, updates, security reasons, or issues outside our control.

14. Third-party links and services

Our website may include links to third-party websites or services, such as payment providers, delivery partners, social media platforms, or external support tools.

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or services of third-party websites. You access them at your own choice and risk.

15. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your legal consumer rights or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

We are not responsible for indirect losses, business losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity arising from the use of our website or products, except where the law says otherwise.

16. Your account

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for keeping your login details safe. Please contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that are misused or used in breach of these terms.

17. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. Please read it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

18. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

19. Contact us

If you have questions about these Terms & Conditions, please contact us through our contact page or email info@intovention.co.uk.
